There are also 2 furnished apartments included onsite A pickup truck that does our diver pickups each day 3 wheeler “Saamlor” for gear and running around Background The business started with 2 staff when they bought the shop in 2008 and this last season, even with the current COVID situation, there were at least 4 instructors working full time. The diver center does not own their own boat, as they found the maintenance to be VERY expensive, so they book places on different boats on the island. There is a very good relationship with the boats in place, and this has proved to be much more profitable in the long run (low season is from May to October normally, when they don’t have to spend a fortune of money on boat repairs and maintenance.) YEARLY rent is 150,000 Baht (about 4,300 Euros). The other shops are paying about 3 x this price. They have a very good landlord, who has just extended our contract for another 15 years, with a small increase every 3 years. Summary Our business is split up between courses (30-40%) and fun-diving (60 – 70%). There is in place a full team of instructors who have worked here for many years that would be happy to stay as they know the systems, the dive sites, and the high level of service excellence. I would be happy to stay on to hand over the business as long as it takes to do so successfully and if necessary, stay on as a staff member to retain our regular clientele. The price is 190,000 Euros for total purchase. This includes a Thai Limited company, with the ability to supply two work permits.
