PADI 5 Star Career Development Center - Sea Spirit Diving Resort - in Giardini-Naxos/Taormina, Sicily, Italy. Sea Spirit is a well-established business for more than 10 years located at 4 Star UNAHOTEL Naxos Beach Sicilia and the most important key-account for PADI in South-Italy. The dive resort is founded in 2012. From 2016 until 2022 Sea Spirit received the PADI Award for outstanding commitment in the diving industry. The diving office is located in the park of the UNAHOTEL Naxos Beach. 5-minute drive from the harbor of Giardini-Naxos and 100m from the private beach of the hotel. Sea Spirit owns 2 boats which depart for the daily tours from the main harbor of Giardini-Naxos Taormina, only 10/15 minutes from each dive spot. Sea Spirit 1 – is a fibreglass boat measuring at 12m long by 3.8m wide. It is approved for the transport of 22 people. The boat has been modernized to offer the guests a large space for dressing-up and for moments of relaxation on the sundeck. The tanks are loaded on specifically made benches designed to hold them in place for a secure and safe set up. A large space is provided below each seat where each diver can store any equipment necessary for carrying out the dive. Access to the sea takes place from the stern via deep water entry. The boat has a strong and convenient ladder for returning back onto the boat. Hot water is always available on board and it is also possible to recharge torches, mobile phones and small electronic equipment. Between one dive and the next, the bow and the sundeck can be used as a sunbathing area. Sea Spirit 1 is equipped with 2 volvo penta 380 HP turbo diesel engines, 250lt water tanks, an MCH 32 TPS Coltri compressor for refilling of tanks, refilling system with hoses up to 6 tanks at a time, bathroom, shower, kitchen, compartment for storing equipment and rack for 40 tanks. Sea Spirit 2 is a 7.80m diving raft (Lomac) with a roof and has an outboard motor 200hp. Both boats have a fully-kitted first aid kit and pure oxygen tank. The diving office is equipped with an air-conditioned classroom, a bathroom, an equipment- and cleaning area for the SCUBAPRO dive equipment, and a relaxation space surrounded by lemon trees. For all confined water aspects of the PADI Courses, we utilise the Olympic swimming pool in the hotel. The Olympic pool is just a few steps away and available every day at all times. We have 25 complete SCUBAPRO equipment sets. At the diving office is a second COLTRI Compressor, MCH 16 Super Silent in a fully equipped compressor room with refilling panel for 4 tanks at a time. Sea Spirit has an updated modern website, an online booking system featured by FareHarbor and an online check-in system for all type of customers. It’s the nr 1 on TripAdvisor in Giardini-Naxos for outdoor activities with over 800 positive reviews. The normal season in Sicily runs from April until October. Regular customers come from mainly from all over Europe. Mostly English/French/German speaking customers. Sea Spirit is located in a busy tourist area since Taormina is nr. 1 hotspot of Sicily.
