It has developed to become a PADI/CMAS Dive Center and as well a CMAS 5 Star Examiner Academy, that conducts the full range of course programs up to all CMAS instructor levels The Dive Center is situated in Ban Saladan, the island´s main village at a prime location. Along with the dive shop goes the 20m motor vessel, which is specially designed for day trips and has all a dive boat needs. Ko Lanta Diving Center provides all official papers, documents and licenses as well as 5 work permits. Part of the dive shop is a fully equipped Cafe - Restaurant, which can host up to 30 persons. Moreover 2 Bungalows are part of the premises. Not only does the Dive Center have cooperation agreements with many domestic and overseas tour operators, a complex internet infrastructure, but also a large amount of frequents. The owner, also a well-known book writer and photographer, has been in the diving industry for more than 30 years and wants to step back from the daily diving business. He can be hired as a consultant though. The Dive Center can operate seven months from October to May.
