Owner is leaving and needs to give this dive school in the middle of town (excellent location) away for small money. The asking price is 75,000 USD, which includes: - shop in best walk-in location on the island - office furniture, including furnished classroom, equipment area, 2 computers - 12 full sets of scuba equipment, in almost new condition - additional 20 sets of snorkeling gear - Bauer Marina dive compressor with spare parts and spare filters - retail dive equipment worth 9,000 Euros - complete shop decoration - PADI store membership for 2011 pre-paid - company car Ford - dinghy suitable for diving, with car trailer I am willing to sell for the nearest serious offer. My dive center is one of the most successful and busiest on the whole island. We open all year round. In total we have 2 staff, not including me. The shop manager is seeing to the day to day operation, scheduling dive courses, trips and shore dives. He also looks after basic accounting. As the new owner you can be active involved or let the shop run by the manager. This way, you do not have to live on Tenerife (although it is a beautiful place to live and I am not leaving light-hearted).
Reason for Selling:
I have another business opportunity to take care of, since a family member passed away recently.
Expansion Opportunities:
My dive center is already PADI 5* rated. It will not take much more effort to become a PADI 5* IDC center and offer Instructor courses 7-10 times per year. This can be a huge additional income.
Connect with more travel agents on the other islands. We already started with this. Connecting to travel agents and especially their sales reps can boost travel to the dive center.
Offered Support for the new owner:
I can give guidelines and show you around, introduce you to people. In addition, I have my manager and Instructor/secretary there for you for 3 full months. They can give you all support and teach you all you need to know. Salary for the 3 months for all staff is paid by me.
