A 30 years long established and reputable PADI 5* dive center in Palau on the beautiful Island of Sardinia. First dive center established in Palau. Due to retirement we are selling a very well established PADI 5*, operating since 1994 with continuous growth during the years and still high potential in making the business grow even more. Main airports only 45 minutes away. Long diving season of 7 months that can also be extended. The location of Palau in north Sardinia cannot be more perfect, with 40 dive sites on the door step, all in one of the most beautiful diving areas of the Mediterranean Sea, the Marine Park of La Maddalena with its 7 islands and the Marine Reserve de Lavezzi (part of Corsica). Beside guided boat dives with certified divers, we also do a lot of teaching, we are actually ranked in the 10-top diving centers for the amount of PADI diving certification in the whole of Italy. Many years we have been first for the amount of eLearning. In 2023 we have been 3rd in all of Italy for the number of certifications. (Not bad for a seasonal business) Dive center is right in the center of the village, 2 minute’s walk to the dive boats. Large open plan diving center with welcome area, equipment rental, shop corner, office, two toilets, shower, workshop (with all the tools, spares etc..) drying area in back garden, car park. 2x boats extremely well maintained, looking as if new. One custom made 12 meters hard boat with dive platform, roof top and toilet. 2x 320hp inboard engine and one comfortable 6.50 meters rib with ladder. 1x 175hp outboard Suzuki engine. 2 x Coltri 32 silent compressors with cooler and with nitrox membrane system up to 40% Nitrox. We are a serious dive center and we have put our heart into making it one of the best dive centers in Italy. We are very well known all over the world but our main guests are from Europe and USA. We have many returning guests, experienced divers but also families who came to take the open water course with us and come back for diving and courses. We also have a very large number of certified divers. We have a very well-established base guest. 80% of our guests are prebooked as our reputation has grown to be known as a professional and friendly dive center. Sardinia is also becoming more popular as a holiday destination. This is a turn key operation, the new owners do not need to do anything to promote themselves but just open the door. We will also flank the new owners for a while to teach them the ropes and also make sure it’s a smooth change of hands especially for our base customers. We will teach all the inns and out of the dive center ( i.e. Mechanics/shipyards/electricians the whole works this will save you allot of heartache and stress) We will still live in Palau so we will always be available for guidance. The ideal buyer would be a couple or a few partners who can split the jobs which makes it easier. We have all licences to work legaly in the area with port space and marine park.
