Unfortunately we have to sell our lovely brand new dive center that we have build up with a lot of love and passion during the last 3 years. Now it perfectly works and makes good profit! Why would we sell it now?! Here is the storyline ... Basti and me (Mimi) took over an established dive center in Austria at lake Weissensee in 2018 and pushed the business to a new level there during the past 7 years. We love it there – it’s simply beautiful. But we always had the dream of owning a dive center in Croatia as well. We checked out several dive centers for sale but at the end we decided not to do it because we didn’t want to give up our DC at the lake and we can’t handle 2 dive centers without being split up for 7 months and that was not worth it. But then our friend Pauli was also interested in getting involved in the diving industry and things looked different. So we decided to buy a pretty run down dive center in Rabac for way too much money. To be honest things looked better than they actually were and at the end we threw out everything that was in there and built up a new dive center with a lot of hard work, money and time. Now it is a really beautiful, well established, ready to earn money dive center. But things didn’t work out the way we wished for. So our friend Pauli decided that he doesn’t want to go on working in the diving industry and we face the same problem like we did a few years back. It is not an easy decision and it hurts very bad, but at the end if we have to choose between Croatia and Austria, it will be Austria for us. And that is why this diamond of dive center is now FOR SALE. What do you get? Location: the dive center is located within the Maslinica Hotels and Resort, which consists of three 4*-Hotels and a campsite at the beach. The manager is great and we are in good relation with everybody. The hotel is of course interested in having a DC within their complex. Center: the DC inside is about 90 sm and consists of a room for the boxes, the rental equipment and the office. Another room with AC for the compressors. Another room for staff equipment. A toilet, shower, sink and sink for dishes. And another room where we accommodated 1-2 staff members. We have a huge outside area, completely covered from the sun. Dive Equipment and other equipment: 2 Bauer compressors (yearly serviced, manometers and safety valves inspected in 2024) Ca. 50 tanks (hydrostatic test in 2022, visual inspection in May 2024) 15 regulators (serviced in winter time by a professional in Austria) 17 BCDs Ca. 40 Suits, ca. 25 shorties 10 computers, 4 torches Boots, gloves, hoods Buoys, reels, Compasses 2 minivans 2 5-liter-emergency oxygen kits & 50l tank oxygen The dive equipment is mostly Aqualung and was bought in 2022, we took extremely good care of everything – so basically it is new. Dive sites: We have an insane shore dive site that is reached with the 2 mini busses (15 guests and 2 drivers max) within 8 minutes. It goes down gently to about 12 meters and then you have a wall in both directions that drops down to 45 meters. There is hundreds of fish, conger eel, octopus, crabs, lobsters, catsharks etc. We even saw tunas, murray eels and trigger fish there. The shallow part is amazing for trydives and beginners and the dropoff is just insane for every advanced diver. Furthermore we have 15 boat dive sites, honestly one is better than the other … You have the wreck Lina, red gorgonies, huge caves and tunnels and amazing walls. Come and see by yourself – it is simply a divers paradise! Marketing: Our bilingual (German and English) web site was launched in 2022 and receives many positive comments. It was set up with WIX by ourselves so you can easily change pictures, texts, designs and so on without needing any further help. We have advertisement boards and even a changing cabin at the beach with our commercial! It is impossible not to see the dive center! 😊 We have an active Instagram account with 2240 followers and we gained about 150 Google reviews with 5 stars! Permits: The company has of course all legal requirements to operate as a dive center. Season & staff: The tourist season runs from beginning of May till end of October – high season is July and August. We are currently working with a total of 3 instructors/DMs and 1 office staff – during high season 5 instructors/DMs and 1 office staff. Guests: Most of our dive guests are from Germany, Austria and the Netherlands, but there is also a lot of Polish, Czech and Hungarian tourists who are mostly into try dives. Boat: red 7,40m rubber boat for 12 guests and 2 staff with a new Yamaha F250 motor (Bought in 2024) We bought the boat from the previous owner but we exchanged nearly everything – so also the boat is like new. Cars & Volta: We have an Opel Vivaro with 9 seats and a Mercedes Vito with 7 seats. We imported both cars in 2023 from Austria and the Netherlands. The cars are running well and we brought them to the regular service in winter. Furthermore we have an electric TukTuk for the transport of the equipment to the boat. I don’t want to exaggerate but this is a once in a lifetime offer – I am sure you will not get anything in such a great condition and ready to dive into business. All the hard work has already been done and you can directly concentrate on making money. Asking price: 160.000 € plus 60.000 € boat

You can come and have a look at the DC right away and get to know the processes - we are open until 6.10.24. If you decide to buy it, we can offer support for the opening in April. As we have to open our DC in Austria around 1st of May, one or 2 of us are available for the 2-3 first weeks in April to support you for the start.
