Tres Pelicanos Dive Center is a well established dive shop located in the center of Cozumel. We have been in business over 14 years and have built a wonderful client base. Our Mantra--"BUILDING OUR BUSINESS ONE SATISFIED DIVER AT A TIME" has proven to be very successful. The entire operation includes 30 National Marine Park Permits. Three boats, each with a ten passenger capacity. The boats are registered and inspected and approved by the Port Captain and the Navy. Rental equipment and 90+ aluminum tanks all in hydro. Most tanks are Aluminum 80's but we also have some 100's We have both air and nitrox tanks.

Expansion Opportunities:
I believe that a new owner with more savvy with internet skills about advertising, could bring this dive shop to a whole new level. During my time we have garnered a client base of older clients who can afford both traveling and diving and enjoying the culture of Cozumel. That is not to say that we do not continue to bring new divers into our fold, but I feel a new owner with newer ideas could really make a huge difference in the growth of Tres Pelicanos. Tres Pelicanos has been set up as a foreign corporation. All the paper work and fees have been paid. Taking over this business will not require a big expense of changing the corporate information. During the entire time we have been in business, my accountant has kept the books which can be made available. We have never been questioned by SAT (Mexico IRS). We have been and remain committed to working within the financial rules and laws of Mexico
Offered Support for the new owner:
I started this business from nothing. I retired from construction. After the market plunge of 2008, I decided to invest in something that I could touch. I found a boat and started Tres Pelicanos. That being said, I have a desire to see the business continue. I feel that the best way for a new owner to take over would be to keep the basic staff in place. I have a business manager and his brother who were raised on the Island and know the business from the bottom up. If anything needed to be fixed or found, they can do it. Of course the same goes for the actual diving staff and boat captains, but I feel that keeping my manager and brother in place would make for an easy continuous transition. I also have a residence on the Island. I would like to have Cyndie, my girlfriend, continue doing the reservations. She has taken over from our original person when medical issues came about. She has upgraded our reservation procedure and it is running very smoothly. I also would like to stay involved in a capacity of basic public relations. Over the years many of our clients who return,want to dive with me. I would like to be able to continue diving with them.
