Run by divers for divers, the Empress was designed for safety, speed and comfort and is one of few solid steel construction, dual engine leisure vessels in Indonesia, custom built with the diver in mind. Through maintaining a diver-centric, value-focused approach, Empress has achieved a fantastic reputation in the market, ranking within the top 15 of circa 100 liveaboards operating in Indonesia and generating turnover in excess of $500k USD pre-pandemic. Since her maiden safari in Indonesia in August 2016, the Empress has completed more than 100 dive trips (with zero accidents), maintaining an average occupancy rate of c.90% whilst receiving excellent customer reviews including a 9.2 ‘Superb’ rating on Liveaboard.com, the world’s largest liveaboard booking platform. During the unexpected pandemic the boat was unable to leave the remote Raja Ampat area and we were forced to cancel bookings until mid of 2022 when eventually Indonesia opened its borders for international travellers. In the meantime, the liveaboard has been well maintained and has recently resumed regular diving trips. We are looking for a buyer who is ready to take over the Liveaboard business with our know-how and business establishment support.
