The Dive Business is based in Phuket, Thailand and was founded in 2000. The specialized tours in the Andaman Sea allowed Business to grow constantly in all these years. Boat was purpose built in Thailand, as a scuba diving liveaboard in 1999, by an Italian naval engineer, on IMO Standards, with hull and infrastructures in certified marine grade steel and upper works in Burma Teak and wood. We purchased it on 2007 and went through a deep refurbishment. Total rebuilt of upper decks were carried out in 2014 getting to the actual design with 5 cabins. Boat has been cruising in Thailand, Myanmar, Andaman Islands, Malaysia and Singapore. The main idea behind the success of the business is, diving in small groups and cruise multiple areas to dive in the best available spots, while offering quality and personalized services. The Liveaboard is approved for 15 passengers plus 9 crew but is geared to a maximum of 10 divers in order to maintain its exclusivity and provide the highest level of comfort and personal services on board, unmatched by any other liveaboard in the area. This reliable and safe vessel has been cruising during current season and, on October, will go in shipyard, as per every year, for all needed routine maintenance to re-start next season in pristine conditions. External “Insurance Survey Report” available. Currently there are five cabins on the vessel. Each cabin has 1 queen size and 1 twin bed, private bathroom with shower box, independent marine A/C, air fan, closet and mini-fridge. Hot water is always available with solar and electrical heating system. Four cabins are on the main deck (DLX) and one on upper deck (Master Room). Additional 2 cabins with bunk beds, A/C and bathrooms are for Dive Staff (sleep 4) and Crew. The boat is 24 meters long, 6,4 meters wide, 2,1 meters draft with GT 76 ton. She is powered by two x 230 HP Nissan PE6 engines, which allow a cruising speed of 9 Kn. Diesel tanks, with a total capacity of 9000 liters, are available for fuel bunkering. Electrical supply is ensured by two three-phase diesel generators of 30 KW each. Inverter and battery bank provide 12 - 24 Volt DC. Tanks with a total capacity of 10000 liters are available for the fresh water supply on board. In addition there is one desalination system with a capacity of 4000 liters per day. Autopilot, GPS x 2, AIS, Fish finders, Radar, VHF radio, CB radio, Life Raft for 25 passengers and much more have been installed for safety of navigation and communications. On board there are two Bauer Air Compressors, Nitrox gas continuous blending system, 26 x 12 Lt and 2 x 10 Lt. aluminum, plus 4 x 15 Lt. steel diving bottles, BCD’s in different sizes, regulators, various diving suits, masks and fins. The Boat is fully equipped to cater for recreational & technical divers, including Trimix and CCR. We offer on board, with our certified Instructors, the complete range of Scuba Diving Courses One 3,8 meter dinghy with a 40 HP outboard motor is also included, as well as stocks of spare parts on board and in warehouse. Business and Boat are currently in operation, fully managed locally by Europeans, living in Phuket since more than 20 years, owning an independent second Company active in the Tourism Industry.
