UPPDATE: Sy Colona II is cyrently in drydock in Kudat / Borneo. A lot of work has been done in the period of march-may 2019. A complete overhaul / rebuild of the mainengine. A paint job on the hull and on deck. Complete job below the waterline including 2 coats of tarepoxy. We have in this period spent 10 000 usd. After 40 years of sucsess in the dive charter industry the current owner has now retired. You will now have a rare oportuenty to purchase this well known wessel. This well know vessel pionered diving in the Red Sea in the late seventies and has run Red Sea diving & sailing expeditions for 20 years. After moving to Thailand Colona II pionered Mayammar ( Burma) and the waters of Thailand for the last 20 years. Equiped for small groups up to 6 divers. She is ideal for a couple wanting to change their life style and / or want to make a living from divecharters. She carries 6*12 lit alu tanks, weights and a Bauer Mariner Compressor. She can legally run charters in Thailand and has a license for diving in Burma incl local agent booking agent if wanted. SY COLONA has circumnavigated the world two times.

History:
Current owner bought COLONA II in 1977 and a full overhaul was made in the med.
1977-1979 COLONA was doing dive charter in the Red Sea with Sharm El Sheikh as a base.
1979-1981 COLONA II sailes around the world and came back 1981.
1981-1982 COLONA was again doing dive charter in the Red Sea.
24 april 1982 at the same day as the camp david agreament was in place COLONA hoisted again ther sailes. She went down the Red Sea, across Indian Ocean, cruised the Maldives for 2 month, saield on to Sri Lanka. On Sri Lanka of big overhaul was made of her interior.
1983: late that year Colona came back to the Red Sea to continue divng charter.
1983-1995: Colona II cruised the whole Red Sea including Sudan and other countries doing diving charter.
1995: Now Freddy Storheil decided that it was time to move and COLONA II moved to Thailand.
1995- xx : COLONA II was one the first diving boats to pioneer BURMA. During this years she sailed the water of Burma and Thailand.
2015: COLONA II sailed to Fhilipines where lives today. Colona has during aug-nov 2015 done a refit.
SY COLONA II has long history in the diving industry and it is a lot of articles written in the diving magasines during the years.
COLONA II is laying in Kudat / Borneo today.
