Restaurant Opportunity - 1 Year Rent Free / Small Investment. Your chance to run a restaurant business on the paradise island of Koh Tao, Thailand Our dive center is looking for a partner to re-open it’s cafe/restaurant facility. We are seeking proposals from an appropriate candidate with relevant experience. We will consider all food options and menu ideas, however we would prefer to include some simple Spanish menu items. The cafe is located on a busy street with passing trade from people coming and going from the pier. The street has many accommodation and other restaurant offerings in the vicinity. The restaurant area currently has room for 24 covers, but this can be expanded to 40+ with the rearrangement of the seating area. The kitchen is fully fitted with cooking facilities, fridges , freezer, coffee making facilities, plates & cutlery although some investment may be needed to accommodate different menu items. The responsibilities of the appropriate candidate will include. Staffing and associated costs. Company set up and work permits (We can help with this). Legal costs Operation of the restaurant from 8:30am to at least 7pm. Opening later is acceptable to coincide with normal restaurant operating hours. Food / drink stock management and supplier management. Small Investment to remodel the seating area and kitchen. To include street signage. Gas, Lighting and Water costs for the whole building. Marketing of the Restaurant as destination eatery on the island. Your proposal must include: Menu Ideas. Your ideas and budget plan to remodel the seating area. To include seating, tables and table dressing, lighting and roof fans. (Selected candidate should be open to discuss the remodel to coincide with our brand.) Relevant experience and references. Marketing plan. All profits from the food / drinks element will be yours. The contract will be on a rolling 1 year basis. The investment in remodelling the restaurant seating area will be forfeited should the candidate vacate within a 2 year period. Any additional kitchen equipment purchased will be owned by the candidate.
