Dreamboat for sale. 1981 CSK 52 Catamaran. We regretfully put up for sale our beloved cat in the hopes that someone else can fulfill the dreams we had for her before our change of circumstance. She is an incredible proven platform for world cruising or watersports business. So she really applies to to types of buyers: 1. Someone looking for a safe reliable world cruising cat 2. Someone looking for the perfect watersports paltform (Sailing tours, diving, snorkeling) Overall: 1. She has an Amazing layout with ample space both inside and on deck. She features separate and large galley equipped with a recently restored shipmate propane oven/stove, large SS sink, on demand hot water, cavernous fridge/freezer with Brand new refrigeration unit. Saloon features a massive u shape settee, full size dining table, cork floors, full size day bed, propane fireplace and enough floor room to do yoga. Each hull, or ama, as they're called in Hawaii, features its own head with separate showers (again, on demand hot water). Port side has large queen size master, ample closet space. Starboard side has two full size bunks. The cat also has a colossal amount of forward locker storage (8ft depth). Ketch rigged with all new running rigging, 2018 rigging survey. All standing rigging in good condition. We even replaced lowers and back stays with performance, heat set dyneema (and had all other rigging created to replace when the time comes). Big bright Spinnaker included as well as several spare sails. Engines are twin Isuzu 60hp (2700 hours total 200 since rebuild 2013). Recently serviced, oil changed, new fuel pumps, fuel polished, belts changed. She's JUST had new Cutlass bearings, and shafts repacked. Features straight shafts with rebuilt transmissions (Spencer hydraulic drives 20hrs July 2018) Electronics include Furuno navnet radar, Garmin 741xs chartplotter, raymarine 6002 autopilot, emtrak B class AIS, standard horizon commercial grade vhf, depth Sounder. Lofrans tigress windlass, 200 ft of brand new anchor chain, brand new quickset anchor, also included 55 lb CQR. She's a beauty with a classic Polynesian look, deep V shape hulls, daggerboard and two trampolines as well as a ton of usable deck space 1000sq ft. Her previous owners have circumnavigated and sing her praises as an amazing blue water cruiser finally finishing cruising after 7years aboard. She is a perfect world cruising live aboard. All seawothiness systems (Hulls, Engines, Rigging, Transmissions are in very good shape or have just been serviced) Long passage maker we have had her with head sail and reefed main doing 12kts in 20kts of wind crossing the gulf of Mexico in 2018. With waves abaft the beam we had wine glasses on the saloon table. Her engines are bulletproof marinized Iszuzu C 240s which cruise at 9kts drinking less than a gallon an hour per engine giving her a cruising range of 1440 nautical miles on engines alone, but shes a sailboat! The bad: She is cosmetically challenged. Our plan was to sail to Aruba and set op a snorkeling charter but with the arrival of a new family member plans have changed. Charter Business: We have a business plan in place based on our target market (Aruba) that has a net profit (after expenses excluding tax) of over $2700/day based on 3 sales a day with 50% occupancy. She is the perfect day sail snorkeling platform as she was built to commercial standards. Her engines are built proof. noted for reliability and were a choice for many fishing vessels. Parts are ubiquitous and many are interchangeable with Commercial C240 truck parts. Example a complete rebuild kit is $579.00 Ebay Alternator $127 Amazon. Wide walkways 3ft wide making getting about the boat easy for passengers. A Huge Saloon to get out of the sun and giant fridge freezer for “refreshments” a rebuilt commercial stove. They have over years in the marine industry in the USA and Caribbean and have references as requested to back it up. They are very reasonable with costs and adhere to their budgets. For example they recently delivered another vessel from Fort Myers to Aruba for $5000 plus expenses. Things I am open to: I of course would prefer cash. I would consider financing with at least 60% down I would consider a reasonable bare boat charter with an existing tour company or someone with the right skills, plan and aptitude.
